Stronger Together: Building Canada-U.S. Partnerships across
the Rockies

Welcome Friends of Canada!

We have lots of news to share with you, as well as a few
upcoming events you won’t want to miss. Over the last
couple of months, our Trade, Consular and Public Affairs
teams have been extremely busy. From Saskatoon to Colorado
Springs, and from Salt Lake City to Toronto, Consulate
outreach from our Denver office has reached far and wide.
Looking to the months ahead, Canada will be the featured
country at this year’s sixth annual Colorado Springs
Mayor’s International Luncheon in June. The Consulate will
also take part in several important Canadian cultural
celebrations, as well as leading academic initiatives to
increase knowledge about Canada and prepare our future
leaders. Read on and discover more about how Canada is
reaching out to communities throughout the four-state Rocky
Mountain region of Colorado, Montana, Utah and Wyoming.
Enjoy.

Sincerely,

Michael Fine

Surprises in Salt Lake City

Back by popular demand, Cirque Éloize returned to the
University of Utah’s Kingsbury Hall for an encore two-night

Canada-Utah relations, representatives from the Consulate
General of Canada in Denver, including Utah’s Honorary
Canadian Consul Scott Parker, hosted a group of Salt Lake
City community leaders during a reception at Cauldron Park
